CCHL Recap | Nationals Win Wednesday Evening

Ottawa, ON – The Rockland Nationals traveled to the Navan Grads, for another matchup in their semi finals series. The Nationals beat the Grads 6-4 after 60 minutes,

The first period saw Anthony Hall and Guillaume Labre scoring for Rockland, while Colin MacDougall found the net for Navan. Navan fought back in the second period with goals from Gabriel Crete and Colin MacDougall, but Rockland maintained their lead with a goal from Mathieu Fillion. The third period was dominated by Rockland as they added three more goals, courtesy of Mathieu Fillion, Aidan Dres, and Anthony Hall. Navan managed to narrow the gap with a goal from Nico Paone, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Rockland’s lead. Rockland goaltender Benoit Forget put on a stellar performance with 28 saves, while Navan goaltender Jaeden Nelson made 27 saves.
